Unattended Moments

Israel / Palestine

I visited Israel / Palestine in 1997, on a study tour with the Council of Christians and Jews. It is a fascinating place to visit, with so many layers of history, and with the mixture of cultures and faiths that is concentrated there. It is a place of contrasts - between the fertile Galilee and barren desert, between modern Tel Aviv and ancient Jerusalem.
