Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy (BBC)
Although I enjoy other incarnations of the Hitchhikers Guide (book, movie), for me the original radio series are the best. They were wonderfully funny, I still love listening to them.
The Lord of the Rings (BBC)
I love this series, which was my introduction to Lord of the Rings. It is an excellent adaptation which reflects the poetry of Tolkien's original story.
