Cats and Kittens
Cats are perfect, and they know it! I love them in all shapes and sizes.
Dolphins
I love the playfulness of dolphins and have no doubt of their intelligence. Although I'm not a huge fan of swimming, one of my dreams is to swim with dolphins one day.
Elephants
Everything that I have seen about elephants has convinced me that these creatures experience strong emotion. Stories of their powerful family bonds are very moving.
Otters
Otters were the main focus of my visit to Skye. They were being elusive, but I finally spotted one. Graceful and playful creatures
Seals
My favourite animals since I was about 4 years old. Just beautiful creatures.
Eagles
Awe-inspiring birds, beautiful and powerful. Seeing a golden eagle was one of the highlights of my visit to Skye in 2004.
Kiwis
Extremely unusual and interesting birds, also very cute.
Puffins
There is nuffin like a puffin. My first close encounter with these endearingly comical birds was on Skomer island in Wales in spring 2005.
Owls
I love owls for their mystique as well as for their beauty. My favourites are the sleek barn owls.
