Dartmoor (Devon)
Both my parents grew up in north Devon, and it is an area I've often visited on holidays, especially Dartmoor. This area is a national park, and also known for its native Dartmoor ponies.

The original manor house at Dartington Hall was built in the 14th century, and restored in the early 20th century. The Hall is now used as a conference centre, with the grounds open for public viewing.
