Hadrian's Wall

The historical wall, begun in 122 CE, which marked the northern boundary of the Roman empire in Britain. Photos from a visit to Housesteads and Chesters Forts in 2006, and a second visit to Housesteads in June 2011 followed by a walk along the wall to Steel Rigg.
